Understand

To revalidate diplomas of foreign and Brazilian doctors who graduated abroad, the exam evaluates skills and knowledge based on the principles and needs of the Unified Health System (SUS).

Composed of two stages — theoretical and practical — Revalida assesses skills in five areas of medicine: internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, family and community medicine.

In the first stage, theoretical, objective and discursive tests are applied. In the second phase, professionals go through ten evaluation stations. The entire process is based on the National Curricular Guidelines for the Medicine Course and associated regulations, in addition to Brazilian professional legislation.
