Rio Wine & Food Festival returns to face-to-face format with 10 days of event

From August 25th to September 4th, the Rio de Janeiro receives the 9th edition of the Rio Wine & Food Festival considered the biggest enogastronomic festival from the country.

The event, which involves wines, gastronomy and culture, returns to face-to-face mode and takes place at different points in the Wonderful city for 10 days.

The program includes the exhibition and sale of wines, food stands, talk-shows, master classes, seminars, producers’ fair and also oenological experiences on the high seas.

Between the 26th and 28th, there are exhibition and sale of producers next to food stands at the Producers Market of the Uptown Barra Complex. Admission is free for the public and the occasion also has musical programming.

To drink, it is necessary to buy glasses, which come with the first dose of wine (R$ 25, with a refill from R$ 15).

O seminar “Wine & Market” It also has free admission (upon registration) and addresses the theme “Wines out of legality”.

Between August 30th and September 1st, Copacabana Palace will host master classes with Chilean and Brazilian wine producers.

This edition of the event also has the “Wine Boat”, oenological experience on the high seas, paid separately . The tours depart from Marina da Glória and travel through the waters of Guanabara Bay while guests taste wines and admire the landscapes of Rio. The tour has an estimated duration of 90 minutes and the first batch costs R$ 185.
