According to the social trading platform eToro, private investors in the United Kingdom have a preference for smart contracts on Cardano (ADA) and Ripple (XRP) cryptocurrency.

invested Ripple is more active than other cryptocurrencies. As a result, Ripple has retained its position as the most popular cryptocurrency in the state.
The number of Ripple investors among eToro clients grew by 4% compared to the second quarter. Over the year, the number of investors in Ripple has increased by 105%. The cryptocurrency has been showing steady growth since July 2021.
Etoro cryptocurrency market analyst Simon Peters believes there are many institutional investors in the Ripple community who believe in the project’s long-term potential. Among the investors there are those who invested in cryptocurrency in 2017 and there are those who have invested money now.
“While the number of bitcoin investors who invest in the long-term increased by only 2%, for Ripple this figure was 4%.”
The second most polarized cryptocurrency in the UK is Cardano. The number of investors holding smart contracts on the eToro platform has increased by 11% over the past three months. Over the year, the number of investors in Cardano has grown by 1,230%.
In 2020, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced that the company may relocate from North America to the United Kingdom, as there is clearer and more transparent regulation of the cryptocurrency market.
