A few days before landing in Brazil for a unique and sold-out performance in São Paulo, Spanish pop sensation RosalÃa had her likely first Brazilian partnership revealed.
The creator of the album âMOTOMAMIâ, one of the biggest hits of 2022, should do a feat with the Rio de Janeiro DJ Gabriel do Borel, owner of the absolute hit âsentaDONAâ.
Together they must release a song titled âLa Kilieâ.
The work has already been copyrighted by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), an organization in the United States with similar functions to the Central Office of Collection and Distribution (Ecad) in Brazil.
the discovery of registration on the ASCAP website was made by the singer’s fans and shared on social networks since Tuesday night (16).
After the revelation, the DJ from Rio posted a motorcycle emoji on Twitter and changed the name of his profile to âMOTOPAPIâ, raising fan expectations.

In addition to Gabriel and RosalÃa, five other people are credited with composing the work, which still does not have an interpreter registered in the system.
Among the songwriters are, for example, the duo of producers Teo Halm and El Guincho, who accumulate partnerships with RosalÃa, and the American producer Michael Uzowuru, who has worked with names such as Beyoncé, Frank Ocean and Donald Glover.
RosalÃa in Brazil, Gabriel do Borel in Africa
Next Monday (22), RosalÃa arrives in São Paulo for the only Brazilian stop of the âMOTOMAMI World Tourâ.
Despite the expectations created with the revelation of the imminent partnership, RosalÃa and Gabriel do Borel should not meet on the stage at Espaço Unimed.

The DJ production informed the CNN that he embarks this Wednesday (17) towards the Angolan capital of Luanda. In Africa, he should make a presentation in Mozambique and take advantage of the week to travel.
In addition to São Paulo, the world tour for RosalÃa’s third studio album will also visit Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and the Dominican Republic in Latin America.
RosalÃa Vila Tobella, who introduces herself only by her first name, is a singer born in Sant Cugat del Vallès, in the region of Barcelona, ââSpain.

Graduated in music with a specialization in flamenco, since her first album âEl Mal Quererâ, in 2018, she mixes pop with traditional Spanish rhythms.
In her latest work, âMOTOMAMIâ, released in March of this year, she mixes influences from hyperpop, reggaeton and flamenco.
The record debuted as the week’s top global release on Spotify, and also topped Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart.
According to music review aggregator Metacritic, âMOTOMAMIâ is the highest rated album of 2022, with a rating of 94/100.
