The Ruselectronics holding, part of the Rostec state corporation, has taken up the production of tracker bracelets for “searching for people” based on the LoRaWAN Internet of Things technology. This was reported by the press service of Rostec.
Ruselectronics has become an industrial partner of the Don’t Get Lost! Project. It is planned that such bracelets will allow remote supervision of children and the elderly. It is noted that the use of LoRaWAN for data transmission does not require a SIM card in the device and the presence of cellular networks coverage, and also provides a confident determination of coordinates in enclosed spaces or underground.
Trackers with SOS button, removal sensor and pulse oximeter will receive compact dimensions (less than 40 x 15 x 10 mm), the battery life without charging will be more than 160 hours.
The data on the state of health and unplanned movements will be transferred to the map application of the service “Don’t get lost!”. The release of the first batch of devices is scheduled for 2021.
