A 25-year-old woman holding a baseball bat near CapitolΩσε bit a police officer when the latter, together with his colleagues, tried to disarm, police announced on Friday.
The woman, who according to police is named Olivia Romano, was arrested after she appeared “disturbed” to “scream” at the police, Reuters reported.
In particular, “when she picked up the cane, the police tried to take it from her”, however, at that moment, she became aggressive “and bit one of them”, said the Capitol police.
Authorities did not release details of the. Bitten officer, nor did they specify his condition. It has not been practiced at present prosecution to the woman.
