Almost everything is known about the RTX 4070 Ti video card at the moment – a month ago, insiders leaked the characteristics of the new model, which are suspiciously identical to the recently canceled 12 GB RTX 4080 video card. Also on the network there are photos from stores in some European countries, where the novelty has already begun to be officially sold, although the video card has not even been announced yet, and today secret information providers have pleased gamers from all over the world with new good news – they showed results from benchmarks that indicate that that the RTX 4070 Ti will have quite impressive performance.

For example, in the TimeSpy Extreme (4K) benchmark, NVIDIA’s latest graphics card scores 11,258 points, while the previous-generation flagship RTX 3090 Ti scores 11,312 points in the same software. A similar situation is observed in the FireStrike Ultra (4K) application – the RTX 4070 Ti shows 13,698 points, while the RTX 3090 Ti gives out 13,987 points. But if in synthetics, which squeezes all the juice out of the video card, the difference is so insignificant, then in real usage scenarios, these video cards will be absolutely equal in their capabilities. It’s worth remembering, though, that the RTX 3090 Ti retails for a suggested retail price of $1,999, while the RTX 4070 Ti goes on sale for an MSRP of $799.

It turns out that the RTX 4070 Ti graphics card has the same performance as the flagship of the last generation (which is just insane performance, really), but at the same time it costs $ 1,200 less. It sounds very attractive, since usually the user gets literally a 10-15% increase in performance from generation to generation for an impressive price increase, but with this video card everything turned out to be more pleasant. True, it is worth immediately clarifying that the RTX 4070 Ti will not be sold for $ 799 – this is only the recommended price that NVIDIA will announce on the official website.

In fact, the video card will be sold for about $ 1,200, because the demand at the moment is much higher than the supply, so NVIDIA partner companies are boldly selling their models for much more than MSRP. For example, a 16GB RTX 4080 should sell for $1,199, but it actually goes off the counter for $1,500 at best – there are models in Europe for $1,800. The situation is similar with the RTX 4090, which sells for almost $2,000 with an MSRP of $400 lower. But, of course, the appearance of the RTX 4070 Ti at a more adequate price with such performance will definitely play into the hands of the gamer audience.
