RuPaul's new autobiography is officially released this Tuesday

The American presenter's new autobiographical book RuPaul Andre Charles, aged 63, “The house of hidden meanings ” is officially launched simultaneously in the United States and Brazil this Tuesday (5).

Launched by Intrinsic publisher in Brazil, the book narrates situations that happened in the presenter's life before the creation of the reality show RuPaul's Drag Race and which are still unknown to the public.

In an intimate account, RuPaul presents his difficult childhood as a young black queer man in San Diego, California, the construction of his drag queen career and his struggle with addictions.

Even when reporting difficult moments, such as your relationship with drugs RuPaul does not lose his lightness and gives the reader a kind of manual for a happy life .

Thus, the book focuses on the first 40 years of RuPaul's life.

The literary production was announced for the first time in October 2023. In December, still on pre-sale, the book had already become a bestseller on Amazon.

In addition to “The House of Hidden Meanings”, the presenter has already written three other books:
