The Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation announced the start of deliveries of the updated precision meters of high-resistance resistance МеТеОм-01. Reference teraohmmeters are intended for use in centers of standardization and metrology, in research activities, as well as for quality control in the production of electronic components.
The device is designed as a portable unit measuring 30 x 40 x 20 cm with a touch display on the front panel. The display is used to control the operating modes and display the measurement results. The principle of operation of the device is based on measuring the voltage and current in the circuit with the subsequent calculation of the resistance according to Ohm’s law. The selection of the measurement limits is performed automatically. Two measurement modes are available: direct and substitute. In direct mode, the device displays the resistance value, and in substitution mode, the relative deviation from the set value. The limit value of the measured resistance reaches 1012 Ohm, and the range of test voltages applied to the measuring object extends from 1 V to 500 V.
The device is designed and manufactured by the Penza Scientific Research Institute of Electronic and Mechanical Devices (NIIEMP). The Institute, which is part of the Ruselectronics holding, is the only enterprise in Russia and the CIS that develops and manufactures vacuum high-frequency switching devices and vacuum capacitors.
