The Kremlin said this Thursday (12) that it had not received any invitation to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President-elect of the United States Donald Trump, on January 20, 2025.
The American TV network CBS, based on several anonymous sources, reported that Trump invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to participate in the event.
Trump’s inauguration is expected to bring together numerous heads of state, mainly Europeans.
Trump and Putin met during the Republican’s first term, but it is unclear whether a new meeting will take place. Trump has already said he will end the war between Russia and Ukraine in one day, although he has not explained how.
