Russian missile attack on Odessa port infrastructure

The Russian armed forces launched a missile attack on its port infrastructure tonight Odessa in the south Ukraine, as announced by the regional governor Oleh Kiper. “Invaders hit port infrastructure in Odessa. There were no injuries”the Odessa regional governor wrote in a post on the Telegram platform.

X-31 missiles were used in the attack, the local military command noted for its part, also reporting hits in the Bilhorod-Distrovsky region.

Russian forces have intensified their attacks against port infrastructure on the Danube and the Black Sea after Moscow withdrew in July from the agreement that guaranteed safe grain exports. Ukraine has since launched a new “humanitarian corridor” in the Black Sea in an attempt to break the de facto naval blockade, defying Russian threats.
