Russians accounted for 27% of Bybit traffic

Russian users accounted for 27% of the total traffic of the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange in May. About it reports journalist Colin Wu.

The rate of visits from the Russian Federation at Bitfinex increased to 22%, at Deribit – to 15%, at OKX – to approximately 9%.

Other popular platforms among Russians include HTX (14%) and MEXC (10%).

From April to May, traffic on the main major exchanges dropped. Only OKX, Bitget and Deribit saw an overall increase in traffic. For the latter, 10% of users during this period were residents of Uzbekistan.

The most popular platforms among US visitors in May were Coinbase (60%) and Crypto.com (25%).

The main source of Binance traffic was provided by residents of Argentina, Turkey and Vietnam (5-6% for each country).

Also last month, a decrease in spot and derivative trading was recorded – by 20% and 11%, respectively.
