Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Exynos 2200 lost to iPhone 13 with Apple A15 Bionic: first test results appeared

Recently, Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 + smartphones based on the new Snapdragon platform were discovered in the database of the popular Geekbench benchmark application. Now the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Exynos 2200 has been tested.

The Exynos 2200 SoC, which includes an AMD GPU, is s5e9925. The RDNA 2-based 6-core AMD GPU in the Exynos 2200 has a 31% to 34% peak performance improvement over the Exynos 2100, according to the new data.

Geekbench confirms that the Exynos 2200 has four 1.73GHz CPU cores, three 2.52GHz cores and one 2.52GHz core. The tested device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and runs the Android 12 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Exynos 2200 scored 691 and 3167 points in Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The source added that the Exynos 2200 lags well behind Apple’s A15 Bionic SoC, which scored 1,732 and 4,685 in two Geekbench tests.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.81-inch AMOLED LTPO QHD + 120Hz display, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage. It will receive a 5000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, as well as a 108-megapixel camera and a special slot for storing the S Pen stylus.
