Samsung has shown a video showing the work of its new development called PixCell LED. PixCell LED is an automotive LED module optimized for smart headlights with adaptive high beam support.
The initial announcement took place about a month ago, but today the company has revealed a number of new details.
So, more than 100 ultra-small light elements are combined in the PixCell LED module. As a result, the area of the radiating surface is significantly reduced – it is 16 times smaller than typical products in this class.
PixCell LED provides exceptionally well-directed, high-contrast lighting that provides drivers with good road visibility.
The Korean giant has already started shipping new modules, but it has not yet been announced who will be Samsung’s customer.
