According to the manufacturer, SmartThings Cooking will turn cooking into an “exciting culinary adventure”. SmartThings Cooking is powered by Whisk, the smart cooking platform acquired by Samsung Next.

Whisk’s Food AI-based algorithm offers an all-week menu, lists grocery items, and connects to grocery stores to instantly order food from the Family Hub fridge or smartphone screen. Recipes can be sent to your synced Samsung kitchen appliances to avoid cooking errors.

SmartThings Cooking recommends recipes based on the tastes and preferences of the user, as well as the products on hand.

The recipes are designed to make cooking easier, timing and explaining each step, just like in a cooking class. Using your smartphone, you can control one-touch cooking, cooking modes, temperature and time settings, as well as control the entire process by looking at the device screen.
