Sanctions against agents of the Russian secret services are expected to be decided by the Foreign Ministers of the European Union

EU foreign ministers will decide on Monday whether and what sanctions to impose on Russian intelligence agents accused of hybrid attacks in the European Union, diplomatic sources in Brussels said today. The EU and NATO accuse Moscow of hybrid attacks, sabotage, arson and even assassination attempts aimed at destabilizing the West and preventing it from continuing its support for Ukraine. According to the diplomats, a list has been drawn up which includes the names of around 16 persons and three entities. The sanctions concern the freezing of assets in the EU and the ban on entry into European territory. Europeans also accuse Moscow of cyber attacks and disinformation, especially during election periods.
