Sanremo Festival 2023: Amadeus has already confirmed the dates

Everything can be said to Amadeus except that it is not organized. And so, about ten months after the kick-off of his fourth Sanremo as conductor and artistic director, Amedeo Sebastiani still chooses Tg1 of 20 to announce the dates on which the Italian Song Festival number 73 will take place: from 7 to 11 February 2023. It will be then, in fact, that Italy will cling once again to Sanremo to get involved in that whirlwind of music, scandals and controversies that have been part of the event for more than seventy years.

Meanwhile, just so as not to be caught unprepared, Amadeus also announces that the nominations to take part in Sanremo Young they can be sent starting from 12 May. Also in this round, as well as in 2022, the three winning artists of the final evening of the contest will have direct access to the competition of the Champions of the February Festival, bringing into the competition the same song with which they participated in the contest with the hope of replicating the same success that overwhelmed Matteo Romano and, above all, Tananai.

As for the Big Nominations, the guests and, of course, the co-hosts, there is still time to fine-tune the details, although we are now certain that Amadeus will be bingo this time too. A gift that must be recognized to the conductor, in fact, is precisely that of guessing the right choices and to create, every time, a show capable of being remembered and leaving its mark in those who live it and, above all, in those who watch it. After the empty seats due to the pandemic in 2021, on the other hand, the rest can only be downhill.
