Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has just adopted a coworker, the cat Lotus, who is called Shoe in the series “And Just Like That…”.
Just like her character Carrie Bradshaw, the actress couldn’t resist the feline’s charm and now he’s part of the family.
Sarah publicized the adoption with an Instagram post. “His name off camera is Lotus. He and his siblings were given botanical names when they were rescued as newborns by the Connecticut Humane Society,” wrote the actress.
“Officially adopted by the Parker/Broderick family in April 2023. He joins Rémy and Smila who we adopted in May 2022. If he looks familiar, it’s because he is. X, SJ.”
The Connecticut Humane Society also celebrated the adoption with a Facebook post.
“Some pets receive really interesting foster homes while they are here at the Connecticut Humane Society. The little Lotus was on the set of ‘And Just Like That’ with Sarah Jessica Parker in Manhattan. Have you seen her adorable debut? And #spoileralert, Lotus enjoyed the spotlight so much he decided to stay on the show”
On the show, Carrie adopted Shoe after Che Diaz took the kitten into his apartment.
