We laboriously arrived at the month of Julythe summer has officially begun, the torrid heat is felt and the longed-for holidays are getting closer and closer.
Of course, even if the news coming from the world is not always all roses, to cheer us up there is nothing better than a good dose of shopping to style your wardrobe with something brand new and, perhaps, porte-bonheurbuying both online and in physical stores, and throwing a strategic eye on the strongest trends of the moment.
Even if the health emergency continues and the geopolitical scenarios do not make us rest assured, it is also good to think about something else, preparing ourselves for when this period can finally be considered really just a bad memory.

Velasca
It’s not summer without at least one straw bag. The reason is obvious, it gives a holiday and country-chic attitude to every look, and turns out to be a perfect transitional item, to be worn both on the beach and in the city. Among the coolest of the moment, note those of Velasca, a brand loved for its handmade shoes that for the summer has designed a mini capsule of 4 models in natural materials: the Zesta and Zestin baskets, made of woven straw with canvas interior, the Basla bucket bag, in raffia with suede lace and tassel in smooth leather, and the Girasò shopping bag (in the photo) in raffia and leather.

ViBi Venice
Among the must-have pieces that never seem to tire are the Friulan, or Furlane, the traditional slippers that Venetian gondoliers wore, created with waste materials such as velvet scraps and pieces of bicycle tires, which have now become a classic of city looks. Among the brands that have made it a stylistic figure, one cannot fail to mention ViBi Venezia, founded by the Arrivabene sisters, who really have a passion for these radical-chic slippers (along with a flair for business). For the SS22 Richmond Riviera collection they cover them with romantic fabrics and bright colors, so beautiful that one leads to another, like cherries!
