School, opening to 11 January postponed. Saturday and Sunday all “orange”

The reopening of high schools to 50 percent postponed to Monday 11. Too few, only a dozen, the Regions available to reopen on Thursday. Only the Veneto has moved the reopening even further, to January 31st. Elementary and middle schools, however, resume on 7 as expected.

New difficult days then until the 15th, when a new Dpcm will arrive. Certainly, from 7 to 15 there will not be the prohibition, throughout the national territory, to move between different regions or autonomous provinces, except for proven work needs, situations of necessity or health reasons.

As always, the return to one’s residence is allowed, domicile or home, with the exclusion of travel to second homes located in another region or autonomous province.

But let’s see in order

January 7 and 8 will be yellow for everyone, therefore free travel albeit with mandatory mask and spacing. Shops, bars and restaurants are open but until 6pm.

The 9 and 10 are orange for everyone, with ban on travel between regions, but the movements are allowed from municipalities with populations up to 5,000 inhabitants, within 30 kilometers from its borders, with the exception of travel to the provincial capitals. Visits to relatives and friends are always permitted in two people.

From 11 to 15, then, the color of each region will be established by the new thresholds of the RT, more restrictive as they are lowered by 0.25: with a transmissibility index of 1 it goes in the orange range, with 1.25 in the red range.

The government provision that sets the new calendar for the containment of the contagion could arrive tonight. Curfew confirmed at 10pm.
