A few days ago, Vivo officially unveiled the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones, which will soon go on sale in China. The company has confirmed that the top-end phone in the series (Vivo X60 Pro +) will launch at the end of January.
The upcoming flagship has now gone through a network certification process, which has confirmed that the Vivo X60 Pro + will feature a 120Hz display with a front-facing camera embedded in the display at the top center.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, making it the first Vivo smartphone to feature this SoC. The world’s first smartphone based on this platform was Xiaomi Mi 11, and the Snapdragon 888 is expected to be used in many future flagship phones. The aforementioned Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro are equipped with the new Samsung Exynos 1080 platform, they were the first smartphones based on this SoC.
The Vivo X60 Pro + smartphone will receive a quad camera, which will include a main 50-megapixel image sensor. The battery capacity is not yet known, but the phone is known to support 55W fast charging.
