O SeaWorld Orlando will be closed Wednesday and Thursday of this week due to the projected trajectory of the drilling Ian, heading for Florida.
“We are taking all necessary precautions – including implementing our comprehensive weather preparedness plan – to keep guests, employees and animals safe,” SeaWorld spokesperson Carl Hensley told CNN in a statement on Tuesday (27).
Two other SeaWorld attractions – Aquatica Orlando and Discovery Cove – will also be closed these two days.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said Ian’s trail has shifted “quite significantly eastward,” with his path leading directly over the city of Orlando in the coming days.
Another attraction in the United States also needed to be evacuated, the Dry Tortugas National Park located in the Gulf of Mexico, west of Key West, Florida.
All employees have left the island, according to NPS spokesperson Allyson Gantt.
THE Florida is on alert for Hurricane Ianwhich threatens to bring high winds and dangerous storms to the state after passing through Cuba.
There is “greater than normal” uncertainty about Ian’s path and intensity, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), which warns of potential impacts along much of Florida’s west coast.

This month, the arrival of SeaWorld to the United Arab Emirates was announced. O SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open in 2023 and will be located in Yas, a 2,500-hectare artificial island that is the destination for entertainment, where the Ferrari World and Warner Bros World theme parks are already located, as well as a water park, a marina, beach and a circuit for Formula 1 races.
