Delegate Daniel Antony, who is investigating the death of sertanejo singer Igor Moreira, claims that the artist was murdered by mistake. Moreira was 29 years old and was hit by at least 20 shots on January 4 in Manaus (AM).
According to Antony, who is from the Police Station Specialized in Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS), the criminals were after a rival who is part of a rival criminal group and confused the target with Igor because he was in a vehicle with characteristics similar to that of the wanted person.
Two individuals have already been arrested for, according to the Civil Police, having participated in the crime: Wala Lourenço Ferreira, 29, known as “BH”, and Gabriel Mendes Ferreira, 21, known as “Dedinho”.
Two other suspects are still wanted: Jânio Pacheco de Sales, known as “Pica Pau”, and Patrick de Lima Batista, the “PK”.
“At the time of the criminal action, Wala was the driver of the vehicle that gave the group escape, ‘Dedinho’ and Patrick de Lima Batista, called ‘PK’, were the executors; and Jânio Pacheco de Sales, known as ‘Pica Pau’, the boss”, said the delegate.
