The murder of a 4-year-old boy by himself is shocking mother in New Jersey, USA. The woman cut the child’s neck and then called the police, but not for her son, but because she had injured her wrist when she was killed, according to authorities.
Elina Gutti, 38, killed the little boy and left his lifeless body in his bedroom on February 6, police said.
The mother then called police at her home in South Bound Brook, whining about “unexplained injuries to her wrist”.
When police arrived at her home, Gutti greeted them with blood on her hands, according to official arrest documents.
Police then searched the home and found Gutti’s son, Aiden Singhania, with “severe neck injuries” and two kitchen knives full of blood on the floor next to the toddler bed. The child was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The mother did not seem to have any emotion when she spoke to the police after locating the boy’s body. All he said was, “This is very serious.”
The woman had recently told her ex-husband that she was suffering from depression, according to information coming to light.
Gutti has been charged with murder of the small child.
