Shocking BBC presenter: ‘I have terminal cancer and few months to live’

Moves by Presenter of BBCJonnie Irwin, who reveals that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has only a few months left to live. Irwin, presenter of Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun and the BBC’s Escape to the Country, decided to share his story with the world for to convince them to live each day to the fullest.

As the BBC presenter revealed to Hello magazine, he was initially diagnosed two years ago with lung cancer, but it has spread to his brain and now he doesn’t know how much time he has left to live.

The cancer is terminal say the doctors. In 2020, when I was first diagnosed, they “gave” me six months but I’m still here. But at some point (the cancer) will finally catch up with me” shocks the 48-year-old presenter.

“But now I want to make plans. I want to create memories and capture these moments with my family because the reality is that my boys (2 and 3 years old) will grow up not knowing their dad and that it breaks my heartIrwin confesses.

As he says, he had been keeping his health a secret for two years and felt he was carrying a “dirty secret”. But as he “doesn’t know how much time he has left” he decided to speak out to remind the world that life is shortto inspire them to live each day as if it were their last.
