The video of the incident, which took place on Wednesday, initially shows the suspect standing outside a mini market, talking on a mobile phone at around 2:20 p.m. (local time – 22.00 Greek time).
Then, the 21-year-old victim, Piero Simeon arrives at the store on a bicycle and stops talking to the perpetrator, who pulls out a gun and opens fire. The victim collapses and the suspect rushes to escape from the crime scene. Simeon, who lived very close to where he was killed, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. So far, the identity and motives of the perpetrator have not been made known, with the killer being sought by the authorities.
