Simple Minds announces two shows in Brazil; see how to buy tickets

The band Simple Minds known for hits like “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” and “Alive & Kicking”, announced two presentations in Brazil in May 2025. The first will be in Rio de Janeiro, on May 3, at Qualistage, and the other in São Paulo, on May 4, at Espaço Unimed.

Ticket sales will begin on the day November 21st, 10am . In Rio it will be through the Ticketmaster official website and in São Paulo, for Eventim. In the capital of Rio de Janeiro, tickets will be on sale from R$180 and go up to R$620. In SP, prices range from R$195 to R$850.

Last week, the group had already announced shows in Latin America, in countries such as Chile, Argentina and Mexico City and left a message for Brazilian fans, asking them to stay tuned for more dates soon.

THE Simple Minds is made up of Jim Kerr (vocalist), Charlie Burchill (guitarist) and a selection of collaborators such as Ged Grimes (bassist), Sarah Brown (backing vocals), Gordy Goudie (guitar), Erik Ljunggren (keyboardist) and Cherisse Osei (drummer) . And they maintain their current and vibrant live performances, something that has been happening since their first album “Life in a Day”, from 1979.

The Scottish group is already on the road, on the Global Tour 2024 world tour, in which they hope to play in front of more than a million people. At shows, they mix songs from their eighteenth studio album “Direction of the Heart” with several classics.
