AMD announced that the new supercomputer of the National Supercomputing Center (NSCC) of Singapore will be powered by AMD EPYC 7003 series processors.

The core of the system will be the HPE Cray EX supercomputer, which uses a combination of EPYC 7763 and EPYC 75F3 processors. It is planned to fully commission the supercomputer by 2022. The theoretical peak performance of the system is estimated at 10 petaflops. This is eight times the performance of all systems currently at the disposal of the NSCC. Scientists are said to be able to use the new system to expand research in biomedicine, genetic engineering, climate change, and more.
