This past Wednesday (30), the American rapper James Jackson III, known as “50 Cent”, threw a microphone from the stage during his presentation on the tour “The Final Lap Tour”, in Los Angeles, United States.
A video shows the moment when the singer shows irritation when he needs to change the microphone. After a production boy tried to help him, the object continued to present a technical failure.
After trying to continue the show a second time and failing, he throws the mic hard. The employee still tries to take the object from the singer’s hands, but fails.
After that, the rapper walks normally on stage and returns to perform. Supposedly, the microphone hit local radio host Bryhana Monegain.
Images are circulating of the injured woman, her bloodied bandaged head and a deep cut on her forehead being tended to by medics. So far, she has not commented on social media.
According to Variety, 50 Cent’s attorney said in a statement: “Let’s be very clear, my client Curtis would never intentionally attack someone with a microphone. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

The singer “50 Cent” has not yet officially commented on his social networks. In the comments, followers demand that the rapper recant about what happened.
“You need to apologize to that poor woman”, “Why did you throw a microphone in the crowd, brother?”, they commented.
“You are a successful person and many people look up to you. Why would you throw a microphone at someone? Even if it wasn’t on purpose, you still threw an object into the crowd. Your fans deserve an apology and some self-reflection about this.”
