The singer Joao Vitor Moreira Sales known as Conrad remains hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Regional Registry Hospital, in the interior of São Paulo, but is conscious and talked about the serious accident that killed his partner Aleksandro last Saturday (7).
According to his girlfriend Anna Moraes, who posted a message on her Instagram this morning (12), he is very shaken and remembers some scenes from the accident.
“My João woke up, is conscious and very shaken by what happened. He remembers some scenes… But as far as possible, it’s fine,” he wrote.
According to the latest medical report released, he is lucid and breathing spontaneously. On Sunday, João underwent surgery to control bleeding and surgical correction of a pelvis fracture and in the first days of the week he showed improvement in kidney function. His health status is stable.
Singer Júlio César Lopes, who is part of the duo’s team, remains in serious condition after undergoing surgery on his femur this Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 10:30 am on Saturday, after the bus in which the duo and their team were falling over at the access to Rodovia Régis Bitencourt, at kilometer 402, in Miracatu (SP). The vehicle left Tijucas do Sul, in Paraná, and was destined for São Pedro, in São Paulo.
In all, 11 people were rescued. In addition to Aleksandro, the deaths of musicians Wisley Aliston Novais, Marzio Allan Anibal and Roger Aleixo Calcagnoto and technicians Giovani Gabriel Lopes and Gabriel Fukuda were confirmed. Aleksandro’s funeral took place on Sunday in the city of Londrina, Paraná.
