“SKAM Italia” renewed for a fifth season (which we will see in 2022 on Netflix)

It is since the boys greeted high school by jumping on the water’s edge at the first light of sunset that we hoped that SHAME Italy sooner or later he would be back and now, finally, the confirmation arrives: the series, produced by Cross Productions and remake of the hit Norwegian series of the same name, will have a fifth season that will be available on Netflix in 2022. This was announced by the same platform that, after making the first four seasons available (initially also available on TIMVision), has chosen to focus on a product that Italian and international critics have taken as a stylistic example for the representation of young people and that a little everyone hoped to see again.

After Eve (Ludovica Martino), Martino (Federico Cesari), Eleonora and Edoardo (Benedetta Gargari and Giancarlo Commare) to you (Beatrice Bruschi), SHAME Italy will continue his formula by focusing the fifth season on the life of one of the protagonists, only the trailer has not yet revealed which one. It is clear that new information will arrive soon, although it would be nice if the series focused, at this point, on a character never fully investigated but who deserves more space: that of Federica, played by Martina Lelio, already seen in I was hoping de died first on Sky.

Given the comments of the actors who, on Instagram, crowded the post of the return of SHAME Italy with emoji and enthusiasm, it is clear that (almost) everyone, from Rocco Fasano to Pietro Turano, will resume their role, even if the curiosity about how the story will unfold, which will no longer follow the boys to high school, but to university, is now a thousand. We will know, however, to wait: the best news is that the series, considered one of the best adaptations of the Norwegian format for the language used and the approach to the most delicate issues, will return next year, and we could not be happier with this. .
