Skater recreates the dance of ‘Wednesday’ on the ice rink and it is a success

Merlina’s dance in wednesday It is one of the most iconic moments that 2022 gave us and all due to the creativity of Jenna Ortega, who was in charge of creating the famous choreography that is now replicated on TikTok and that has incredibly been a source of inspiration for some sports routines.

Such is the case of the Russian swimmer Kristina Makushenko or the figure skater Kamila Valieva, who mixed pirouettes, jumps and dance steps in her most recent competition routine, leaving everyone “frozen” with her talent.

Kamila Valieva, 16, participated in the activities of the Russian Figure Skating Championships and stood out among all the skaters for presenting a choreography inspired by the iconic Merlina dance. The skater focused so much on her role that even her wardrobe, hairstyle, makeup, and facial expressions resembled that of her enigmatic character.

Kamila took over the ice rink and to the beat of Goo Goo Muck of The Cramps and bloody mary of Lady Gaga got the attention of the public, which was spellbound under her pirouettes and incredible attitude.

However, Kamila is not the only athlete who has been inspired by Merlina’s movements. A few days ago, Kristina Makushenko, world champion in synchronized swimming, also recreated the choreography underwater, which took her more than four hours to complete.

Kristina wore a sheer fabric dress and 5-inch heels for a movie-worthy effect. Her video already has millions of views on Instagram and, of course, has received thousands of positive comments for her talent, creativity, and effort.
