Last week Volkswagen Group Rus announced the launch of a subscription service in Russia. Audi, part of the VW group, was the first to disclose pricing for this service. Now Skoda has shared the details.
The Skoda Smart Drive program offers the Karoq and Kodiaq crossovers in the mid-range Ambition with all-wheel drive. Cars are equipped with a 1.4 TSI engine, which develops a power of 150 hp. and works with a robotic 6-speed DSG gearbox.

Skoda Karoq by subscription costs 45,500 rubles a month (546 thousand rubles a year), while a new car in this configuration costs 1,845,000 rubles. Skoda Kodiaq can be rented for 65,000 rubles a month (780,000 rubles a year). A new car costs 2,213,000 rubles.
The monthly payment includes OSAGO and CASCO, transport tax, the cost of replacing tires, maintenance, delivery of the car to the client, as well as roadside assistance.
Initially, customers are offered to take a car for a year in Moscow and use it throughout Russia. In the future, they plan to introduce shorter-term tariffs and expand the model range.
