The service was launched in October 2020 and currently has over 100 million registered devices. According to the Korean manufacturer, thanks to SmartThings smart home technology, users find about 230,000 forgotten or lost gadgets every day.

SmartThings Find allows you to pinpoint the location of registered Galaxy smartphones, wearables, headphones, S Pen Pros, and personal items such as keys or wallets with a Galaxy SmartTag attached to them. If a forgotten gadget is not connected to the Internet, other users nearby can help locate it using their smartphone or Galaxy tablet.

SmartThings Find recently introduced the SmartThings Find Members feature, which allows you to invite friends and family to join the same SmartThings account to find and manage mobile devices. Up to 19 people and up to 200 gadgets can be connected to one account.
