At the end of 2019, Qualcomm introduced new platforms for Windows laptops, including the younger Snapdragon 7c. Judging by the almost complete absence of any reviews on the Web, it did not gain much popularity, although at least a couple of laptops based on it came out.
And now Microsoft, among others, has introduced another new product called JP.IK Leap Connect T304. It is worth clarifying that Microsoft itself has nothing to do with this PC – the company is simply promoting the product.
Why is JP.IK Leap Connect T304 interesting? At least because it is the cheapest laptop with a Qualcomm SoC. The novelty costs only $ 230, and this is several times less than all laptops on the older Qualcomm SoCs cost.
True, the parameters are appropriate here. The laptop received a TN display with a diagonal of 11.6 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB drive. There are Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, a 2MP camera, and a 30Wh battery. Dimensions are 305 x 201.5 x 24 mm and weighs 1.25 kg.
Such a laptop is focused exclusively on the educational segment, so we are unlikely to see platform tests. But the price should be a plus for this model.
