Sony may unveil the first mobile PlayStation games earlier than expected. This was revealed by Sony Interactive President Jim Ryan in a recent interview.
In April, Sony began searching for a candidate for the head of the mobile division at PlayStation Studios, and in May, Sony announced at a corporate strategy meeting that the near future of PlayStation is mobile gaming and social media.
When asked about the hiring of the head of PlayStation Mobile and Sony’s plans to release mobile games, Jim Ryan said:
We are working on a number of models to open up a mobile business. You will see the first fruits sooner than you might expect.
