THE Dubai source one of the most visited sights of the emirate, will be closed for five months from May . Emaar, Dubai’s real estate development authority, has announced that the source will undergo improvements.
Known as The largest source of performic shows in the world the attraction will gain technological updates, improving water choreography and an optimized sound system. Lighting is also among the improvement plans.
In a statement, Emaar said temporary closure will allow necessary improvements “to preserve its iconic status as one of the most celebrated water resources in the world.”

Located in the center of Dubai, the source belongs to the Dubai Mall one of the largest malls in the world, and is right in front of the Burj Khalifa the highest building in the world, 828 meters high.
Water shows take place daily every 30 minutes between 18h and 23h. The jets of water are arranged in an area larger than two soccer fields and Jour up to 22,000 gallons of water at 140 meters high .
