The heat that has been felt in recent days in the states of the Brazilian Southeast should continue throughout the next week.
In an interview with CNN this Saturday (19), Climatempo meteorologist, Carine Gama, said that high temperatures and rain concentrated in the late afternoon are characteristic of spring, and this condition should remain stable in the coming days.
“During this Saturday, the weather is firm in much of the state of São Paulo, parts of Rio de Janeiro and southern Minas Gerais. But it rains again, even with a risk of thunderstorms, during the afternoon. Those quick rains, but that come with strong intensity, ”he said.
According to the specialist, from this Monday (20), the heat should not change, with maximum temperatures reaching around 30ºC, but the rain condition may gain greater intensity, including in the capital of São Paulo.
“The feeling of heat does not go away. The feeling of sultry weather continues, warmer air, and we continue with this pattern of sun and heat in the morning, rapidly rising temperatures, and, during the afternoon, stronger showers of rain”, he added.
The situation may change next Friday, with the arrival of a cold front to the Southeast, which may increase the rain and lower the temperature a little.
