SSD-drives from the domestic company GS Group, developed and produced in Russia at the GS Nanotech plant in Gusev (Kaliningrad region), went on free sale for both individuals and legal entities. This was noticed by the Technosphere Russia portal.
There are four models available in the imaxai.ru online store:
- M.2 (SATA 3) for 256 GB – 12,990 rubles;
- 2.5 “(SATA 3) for 256 GB – 11,990 rubles;
- 2.5 “(SATA 3) for 512 GB – 15,900 rubles;
- 2.5 “(SATA 3) per 1 TB – 28,900 rubles.
GS Group started a project for the development and production of SSD in Russia in 2016. Two years later, mass production was launched, and in June 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade confirmed the status of production of an SSD of its own design in Russia. Thus, the drives from GS Group became the first in the register of industrial products manufactured in Russia.
