The actress Michelle Yeoh 61, is back in the franchise “Star Trek” after appearing in the series “Discovery”. She will star in the newest film in the saga, “Star Trek: Section 31” which had its first trailer released during the San Diego Comic Con 2024.
Michelle Yeoh to Reprise Her Role as the Empress in Star Trek Spinoff Phillipa Georgiou who joins a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets and confronts the sins of his past.
The star-studded film will also feature actors Omari Hardwick (“Power”), Kacey Rohl (“Hannibal”), Sam Richardson (“Ted Lasso”), Sven Ruygrok (“One Piece”), Robert Kazinsky (“Pacific Rim”), Humberly Gonzalez (“Ginny & Georgia”) and James Hiroyuki Liao (“Barry”).
“Star Trek: Sextion 31” is executive produced by Alex Kurtzman, Craig Sweeny, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth and Michelle Yeoh herself.
The film is scheduled to premiere in 2025 on the Paramount+ streaming platform.
