Super Mario come back. More active and dynamic than ever. In addition to jumping mushrooms and running everywhere in his iconic blue jumpsuit and unmistakable red hat, the intrepid hero now dictates the time. That of Day, this year, who has created a special limited edition smartwatch capable of combining sport, technology and elegance. But not only.

Why TAG Heuer Connected x Super Mario Limited Edition, born from the collaboration with Nintendo, encourages the wearer to leave the house and intensify their physical activity, to be rewarded with the pleasure and satisfaction of marking their progress.

The more you maintain an active lifestyle during the day, the more the dial of the timepiece comes alive and lively. Obviously, the unstoppable will accompany the progress and daily activities Super Mario, he too in constant motion between jumps, runs, and sports.

The animations are based on the gamification rewards system: Mario welcomes the user with a welcome greeting in the morning and, as time progresses and the accumulated steps advance, he proposes a different animation on the dial when reaching each stage of the daily goal (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%). These animations take the form of famous Super Mario objects: at three o’clock super fungus that makes Mario grow, at six o’clock Tube which allows him to travel quickly and at nine o’clock the Super Stella which makes him invincible. When 100% of the daily step goal is reached, Mario climbs the Flagpole, another iconic feature of the video game.

Even externally, the innovative digital creation recalls the world of Super Mario, such as the notches on the bezel, the buttons and the logo on the crown proposed in the famous lacquered red color of his cap. The bezel features three iconic symbols at three, six and nine o’clock, referencing the Super Mario items included in the dial animations that the user can unlock and discover only when they reach certain goals later in the day.

TAG Heuer Connected x Super Mario Limited Edition comes in a package designed exclusively for this collaboration. Available in just 2,000 pieces, it will only be available for purchase in selected TAG Heuer boutiques and on the website www.tagheuer.com in some regions, from 15 July 2021.
