Superior order prevented transfer of Ribeiro, says PF delegate in letter

Federal Police (PF) delegate Bruno Calandrini declared, in a letter sent to the Operação Acesso Pago team, that a higher order prevented the transfer of former Minister of Education Milton Ribeiro to Brasília. The information is from the policy analyst at CNN Thais Arbex.

“Milton’s transfer to the PF incarceration in SP is a demonstration of interference in the conduct of the investigation, so I claim that I do not have investigative and administrative autonomy to conduct the Police Investigation of this case with independence and institutional security”, said the delegate in the letter. .

Calandrini also reveals that he maintains the position that the investigation was “obstructed” for not carrying out the transfer.

In his words, Ribeiro was treated “with honors that do not exist in the law”. This would have happened despite the efforts of the PF teams that carried out the operation in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo “and was guided, by this underwriter, to escort the prisoner to the airport in São Paulo for a trip to Brasília”.

Finally, the authority asks: “How many prisoners from Santos, until yesterday, were taken to the SR/PF/SP prison?”
