The arrested man is also part of a criminal organization in the state of São Paulo, specializing in theft of large amounts from luxury apartments, said Roberto Veran.
In a statement, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais said that investigators were able to identify the strategy used by the criminals, which linked the action of the person being investigated to a series of crimes in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Goiás, Paraná and the capital of São Paulo.
