Sylvester Stallone issues warning after traumatic incident in “The Expendables”

Sylvester Stallone issued a warning to other actors, advising them to avoid performing their own action scenes, after suffering an irreversible physical transformation during the filming of “The Expendables”.

The iconic action film actor, 77, was seriously injured while starring opposite wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in the 2010 film, and believes he “never fully recovered” from the injury.

“I did stupid things. I was directing 'The Expendables' and, like an idiot, I was on the tenth take, and I remember one hit where I could actually feel a 'pop'. Steve noticed. I never recovered from 'The Expendables 1'. After that film, I was never the same physically. I warned people: don't do your own stunts”, declared the star on his reality show, “The Family Stallone”.

Sylvester underwent seven back operations after the incident, and joked that he would be the ideal choice to play the legendary character Quasimodo in an eventual remake of the film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.

“If you need a remake of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame', I'm ready,” said the eternal Rocky Balboa, demonstrating his usual good humor.

Sylvester's wife, Jennifer Flavin, 55, admitted that it is quite distressing for the family whenever Stallone has a back operation.

“Sly tries to hide his pain, acting as if nothing had happened. He doesn't like people knowing he's had so many back surgeries. It's very scary for our family every time Sly has to have an operation because you never know [o que pode acontecer]; nobody knows”.
