One of the leaders of the Third Command Pure (TCP) faction, Luiz Carlos de Lomba, known as “chocolate” was arrested on the morning of Thursday (13) while doing a facial harmonization in Rio de Janeiro.
The criminal is considered one of the three pillars of TCP and is responsible for the entire process of quality assessment of cocaine marketed in the Maré Complex region.
“Chocolate” had the role of approving or not approving the “purity” of the drug, so it was named “chemist” from the criminal group.
The man was arrested during the mega operation triggered by the Rio Civil Police to arrest fugitives from justice. “Chocolate” was in an evaluation appointment for an aesthetic procedure when it was captured.
According to the agents, he made a facial harmonization to escape the police. Investigations point out that he no longer acted in person in the tide, as he had his role in a kind of home office.

The drug dealer had an open arrest warrant since 2024, in which he is responsible for the crimes of criminal association and theft. “Chocolate” is investigated in at least 35 crimes. He would be next to two other criminals who make up the TCP summit, “Bill” and “Mangolé”.
Some funks in the region mention “chocolate” in the lyrics, with verses such as “any day the bar and PU ‘is becoming’ tcp, ‘chocolate’ gave you the chat, I’ll tell you”. This type of tribute may indicate the importance of Luiz within the faction, besides being someone who gives orders or “chat.”
The spolishing operation is still in progress. More than 700 agents perform steps throughout the state and, so far, 294 criminals have been captured.
