Texas elementary school shooting: what we know so far

Another massacre in an American school. An 18-year-old boy entered elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, armed and fired. Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed the deaths of 14 children and a teacher.

The person responsible was killed by the police: it is the 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, a former student. The death toll is the most severe in recent years in the United States. In the shooting at Colombine High School, Colorado, in 1999, the victims were 13, 27 deaths in the elementary school in Sandy Hook on December 14, 2012 by a 20-year-old.

Ramos also allegedly shot his grandmother before going to elementary school armed with guns. The governor says so Abbott explaining: «He shot without in a horrible and incomprehensible way killing 14 students and a teacher».

All the schools in the district were blocked around 1pm. From the twitter account, directions for parents on how to retrieve the children brought to the Willie Deleon Civic Center.

According to Cnn it was 1pm local time when the boy opened fire apparently for no reason.
