One more shock for US after deadly gun attack on elementary school in Uwalde, Texas. 19 students and two teachers were killed, while the perpetrator was also killed in an exchange of fire with police.
He was named by the authorities as a suspect in the massacre 18-year-old Salvador Ramos. He killed children and teachers “in a barbaric and irrational way” inside the school, Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott told a news conference.

Salvador Ramos also shot his grandmother before entering the school and opening fire, causing the shocking massacre. According to the Daily Mail, the grandmother was taken to hospital and her condition is unknown.
One of the teachers killed was identified by her family as 44-year-old Eva Mireles.
Ramos was born in North Dakota but lived in Ovalde while attending high school in the city, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said during a news conference.

The young perpetrator posted photos with his weapons on Instagram and shortly before the massacre he allegedly texted a girl he knew little about, saying that he was planning an attack, reports the Daily Mail.
The victims ranged in age from 7 to 11, according to CNN.
