Be quiet !, specializing in power supplies, cooling systems and PC cases, has added a Pure Rock Slim 2 CPU cooler to its catalog. It is designed for processors with a TDP of up to 130W in the AM3, AM3 +, AM4, LGA 1200, LGA versions 1150, LGA 1151 and LGA 1155.
The Pure Rock Slim 2 design features three 6mm copper heatpipes and an aluminum heat sink that houses a 92mm Pure Wings 2 PWM fan. Fan speed is controlled by PWM. The maximum speed of 2000 rpm corresponds to a noise level of 25.4 dBA. The heatpipes are designed to be in direct contact with the processor cover. The dimensions of the cooling system are 82 x 97 x 135 mm, weight – 385 g.
According to the manufacturer, the small size and optimized mounting design make the Pure Rock Slim 2 cooling system especially suitable for cases with limited space and eliminates the risk of incompatibility with memory modules with high heatsinks.
Sales of Pure Rock Slim 2 are due to start on March 23 at a price of 25.9 euros.
