CDEK CEO Leonid Goldort released a statement saying that the express delivery service will not accept parcels of goods for dispatch if the sender cannot confirm ownership of them – for example, by providing a cashier’s receipt from the store.
The company decided to take this step “in connection with the increase in cases of fraud and customs inspections in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), including those carried out after the release of goods in accordance with customs legislation.”

When accepting non-documentary items in the territory of the EAEU for delivery from an individual to an individual, check the authority of the person (sender) to dispose of the goods (cash receipt for the purchase of goods or other document confirming the ownership of the goods). In case of failure to provide the specified documents, the client should be denied the provision of courier services.
