The first Sgrappa pop-up store opens in Milan

Sgrappa, the grappa fruit of an intuition of the artist Maurizio Cattelan, together with friends Paolo Dalla Mora and Charley Vezza, arrives in Milan. And it does it with its first pop-up bar, Sgrappa and Go!, which will remain open from 28 to 30 May 2021.

On the Navigli, one of the reference areas in the field of mixing, it will be possible to discover cocktails Sgrappa Sour, F*** you too e F*** on the beach, ordering through a small and curious opening: cocktails will emerge from the unexpected marble arch in the walls overlooking Ripa di Porta Ticinese, thus surprising the audience with irony. The pop-up bar, with a format that aims to put grappa – a brandy with a centuries-old history – in its essentiality at the center of the experience, confirms the desire to relaunch the image of a product, which can be considered the “spirit” Italian par excellence, in a new, contemporary and cosmopolitan key. If the quality of our country is in fact the undisputed protagonist of the aperitif and of the table at an international level, in the mixing there is no reference product of Made in Italy that can give continuity, even after dinner, to that sense of belonging.

Suitable for all needs, Sgrappa is a modern, versatile grappa, which can be consumed neat, in good company, but reaches its maximum expression when mixed with tonic water or pink grapefruit juice, as indicated by the new trends in this distillate.
